Self-Care
Self-care is the foundation of life; it is not a to-do list. It sprouts
from deep within the heart as a fruit of self-awareness. To effectively care
for others, you have to be self-aware: it is the only way you can touch both
the core of your soul and that of others.
Indulging in self-care:
i. Treat
yourself as you would treat others: self-encouragement, self-comfort, self-reassurance
and self-motivation. Fill your jar with awesome love so that you can serve
others with the same awesomeness.
ii. Take
sufficient rest, eat well and exercise to rejuvenate your body.
iii. Build
a positive mental environment.
iv. Set boundaries.
